There are a ton of fundraising
programs out there to chose from but this one in particular caught my
eye because my grandmother is currently battling myeloma for the second
time. It was first caught about four years ago by a doctor at Kaiser
Permanente in Sacramento, CA. Unfortunately it was not caught until the
third stage. She has gone through much pain and suffering especially
since it was caught so late. Among other things, she has struggled
constant lethargy, nausea and loss of her beautiful hair. But through
all of this her suffering, her number one priority was to love all of
her children, grand-children and great grand-children will all the love
she could possibly give. She's one of the sweetest, most generous people
I know and someone so kind doesn't deserve to go through all of this. No
one does. I addition to my grandmother having cancer, my mother,
mother's father and his mother have all battled cancer in the past.
Luckily they are all in many years of remission; with the exception of
my great-grandmother who has since passed away but did die of natural
causes. All I can hope is that my grandmother, Tomasa, will also be able
to be in remission soon and for many years to come.

Each donation helps accelerate finding a cure for leukemia, lymphoma and
myeloma. More than 823,000 Americans are battling these blood cancers. I
am hoping that my participation in Team In Training will help bring them
hope and support.
On behalf of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, thank you very much for
your support.
I greatly appreciate your generosity.

P.S. I would appreciate it if you would forward this link to as many
people as you can to encourage them to donate as well. Thanks again.
